New York in November

The balmy weather put a smile on our face last week, as did our witty Tuesday guest, Jay McInerney, and Wednesday's Drinkology team of James Waller and Ramona Ponce.

Tuesday 11/14 come to Bottlerocket for an Eclectic Salon celebrating The Best Things to Do in New York, a quirky and excellent new guide book. See below for details. Mark your calendars for a wonderful upcoming event: chef, entrepreneur and author Danny Meyer will be at the store on Wednesday, December 13.

Now our focus is on the holidays. Below you will find our Thanksgiving feast suggestions. Ever get hung up on how much wine to bring? Waller and Ponce gave us a practical formula to calculate quantities of wine when planning a party:

P + (P x H) = D

P is for number of people; H is for total hours for the party; D is number of drinks. One bottle of wine serves five glasses. Try the formula and let us know if it worked for you.
